Summer tennis is ending:
Mid-October, and summer tennis has officially ended here in BC as trees change colors and
tennis bubbles go up.
For John More, Bob Blades, Gerry Mitchell, Reza Karimi, Gen Erikson, Tony Rudner and other
players at the Capilano Tennis Club, it means moving to nearby tennis clubs with indoor
facilities.
Capilano Tennis Club, tucked away just out of
sight between Capilano Road and the North Vancouver stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway,
and surrounded by trees and a 15-foot fence, is one of the North Shore's best-kept secrets.
