Burnaby Open - 2005
Burnaby Tennis Club hosted the 2005 Burnaby Open
tennis tournament June 25 - July 3, with 368 players competing in 19 events.
In the Men's Open event, Rehman Esmail, above, defeated Graeme Kassautzki , and in the
Women's Open, Shelly Roxburgh beat Renata Kolbovic to win the event. In the Men's Open
Doubles, Rehman Esmail and Kris Santoso beat Daniel Chu and David Chu.
Tournament referee Lois Ker and club pro Glenn Richards, with the help of many volunteers,
made sure that the tournament was a great success.
