Richmond Open - 2006
Richmond Tennis Club hosted their 44th Annual
Richmond Open this year, June 3-11, with 346 players competing in 18 categories. The event
was the second tournament of the Odlum Brown Summer Series.
Stephi Gjine, shown above with her dad and couch, beat Margit Aardmaa, the winner of the
New Westminster Open title, in straight sets, in the
semis, but lost to Rebecca Marinoin in the final.
