The U16 Indoor National Champions
March 29, 2014 - Top seed Benjamin Sigouin of Vancouver, BC over came his
doubles partner,
Jack Mingjie Lin of Ontario, 7-6, 6-3, in the championship final to
win the U16 Indoor Nationals. Benjamin, also beat
Jack in the final at the
U14
Indoor Nationals last year. Benjamin, who won an ITF junior title
in Mexico earlier this year, is also a former champion at
the U12 and U14 outdoor.
Un-seeded Jack Davis (left) and Kiran Phaterpekar of BC claimed top honours in
doubles by beating top-seed Benjamin and
Jack Mingjie Lin in the quarters, 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 and second seed Victor
Krustev and Juan Carlos Manuel Aguilar,
6-1, 7-6, in the final.
