Filip Peliwo at the Wimbledon Open
July 8, 2012 - Filip Peliwo of North Vancouver BC, above, won junior Wimbledon title in singles by beating Australia's Luke Saville 7-5, 6-4 in the boys' final.
The 18-year-old also made it to the two previous finals, the Australian
Open and the French open juniors.
Filip became the first
Canadian boy to win in a Grand Slam junior singles final He will be the No. 1 ranked junior boy in the world on Monday.
